Traditional Japanese decor. Full Shoji screen wall opening onto Zen garden with seven rare bamboo species and wood deck. Bath is dark slate with separate shower and shoji enclosed deep soaking tub for 2 overlooking a small private garden, the living room and gas fireplace. Platform bed with futon appearance covered with royal purple bed covering. End tables have carp fish artwork lamps. The living room, overlooking the Zen garden, has an antique stepped tonsu covered with a beautiful silk obi, two uniquely designed chairs with royal purple upholstery, a hibachi converted to a coffee table and a tokonomo (shrine) with its traditional scroll, flower arrangement and teak platform completing the ambiance.
