Luxurious Pullman Appointment

This is the re-creation of an intimate, plush railroad baron's Pullman car during the late 1800's when the wealthy railroad barons traveled in luxury and opulence. It is royal red with fabrics of damask and silk and has rich woods with gold leafing, upholstered walls with ornate moldings and over-stuffed chairs of red tufted velvet. The sitting area is separated from the sleeping area by white columns with heavy gold silk draperies tied back with hand-embroidered tassels. Above the bed is a lighted, domed ceiling. It has a standing balcony with a metal-work railing designed to look like the end of a railway car. The large, white marble bathroom has a two person soaking tub under a sky light.
